I realize this is probably wrong except that it works: I have I believe 6 of these modems and I use the Hayes Optima 288 initialization settings provided with telefinder. BTW these modems have worked without any problems for over a year ( the oldest is I think 2 yrs old) whereas I have 2 of 4 practical peripherals modems dies after 3 months of use, and have already encountered some glitches with my new Hayes Accura.
