something strange is going on, we had the external scsi version of CSI hurdler cards on loan to us for our internet project, we recieved our new CSI Nubus cards yesterday and installed them in the 840av we're using. The cards show up but when trying to initialize the modems for dialing out or in the modems will not work, the modems being used are Practical Periphials 28.8 v34, US robotics 33.6 Sportsters. They all worked fine in the external version but now with the internal cards they wont work.

The reason I'm posting here is we're quite disturbed with CSI's Tech Support, they told us it could be 3-4 days before they could get back to us. We don't need support 3-4 days from now, we need to be online now, we were told thats the best they can do.

While the products they sell may be good, beware when you buy from them, their tech support stinks. VersaLink tried to help us by sending us their software that they use to drive their cards but to no avail, but at least another company was willing to try to help a hung out to dry customer of CSI.

If anyone has any insight of why these modems won't work could you please help us. We are also concerned a wee bit that the date on the cards are 1991 and the most current software is 1994.

Any help is greatly appreciated
