This file consists of the 3Com/USR Courier I-modem V.90 flash code update file, a Hayes Smartcom v1.4A AutoPilot script for sending the update file to the I-modem via XMODEM non-MacBinary and Smartcom v1.4A, to execute the AutoPilot.
It was assembled by the ASTEC Company, Inc., since 3Com/USR does not offer a way to update the Courier I-modem with an offline file utility. The 3Com/USR "Modem Update Wizard" requires that you perform the update online, by calling 3Com/USR. Not a cost effective or convenient method, if you are attempting to update multiple modems.
