Ken: I mentioned to you in a chat a week or so ago about the error message that occurs when cookies are blocked. People are able to log on, and are able to view the contents of their mailbox. However when they click on a mail item they are informed that their logon is incorrect.

I also found that this occurs with MSIE version 3 on the PC and with versions 3&4 of MSIE on AOL, regardless of whether cookies are turned on or off. WHne we spoke of this you attribuited it possibly to some idiosyncracy of MSIE. WHat I have since found is that if you check off the mail item and click "VIEW", that you can look at your mail and you are not informed of a log-on error.

Since 2 actions, putatively aimed at accomplishing the same end are giving different results, is it possible that there is a problem in HDS that might be easily corrected, especially since the workaround is so easy?
