I do run a Filemaker Pro database on my system that serves files at the same time. You probably are right the combination causes the problem. I was hoping that the multitasking would help. I may eventually move the database off to a different machine. I just hate to think about getting two machines to reset and work together and my traffic hardly warrants it. I wish there were a good way to measure before and after performance. Conceptially Respond is a good idea. MacOSX will likely solve it for all of us.
