Greetings from the KloneZone Mac BBS in Fort Worth Texas USA.
I am sending this message to accomplish several objectives:
1. To test the integrity of the link between the KloneZone Mac BBS and the other systems with which it exchanges TeleFinder Network (TFNet) traffic.
2. To allow others to review the configuration file (Mailserver.config) used on the KloneZone Mac BBS, for the purposes of comparision, and improvement.
3. To allow others to provide suggestions for new topics to be shared between systems. (I will share any topics I am permitted, as determined by the rules of the other nets my system is connected to (some lists cannot be gated to TFNet for this reason), and by the ability do do so (Fidonet cannot be gated to TFNet for this reason).
I request that all system operators who receive this message please respond by providing a brief status report consisting of the following items:
a. Your name
b. Your system's name (common name and tfnet domain name)
c. Your system's internet address (domain name) and dial-up phone number.
d. Scheduled time(s) you connect with my system (including the TimeZone)
e. Proposed scheduled times for my system to return poll. (I'll poll only if internet connection is available)
d. A list of the TFNet areas you are receiving.
e. A list of the TFNet areas you are not receiving.
f. A list of non-Fidonet areas you would like for me to add to your configuration on the KloneZone.
g. A list of areas carried on your system that you would like to exchange with others.
h. Any contact info you have on other TeleFinder Systems, and their sysops.
