Im not shure about version 8.1. But version 8r6 (june 1997) seems to
vork fine here on sys 9 and 9.1 on beige G3. I think 8r6 solved a
problem starting up the project manager if free memory was more than
90MB? Try filling your computers memory with other programs so you have
less than that free before starting symantec project manager. C++
8release6 was a free upgrade but I remember I had to call Symantec and
ask for it.

I think there is a problem with SIOW applications built with this
failing when quitting on OS9? because of outdated libraries. But
programs built with Visual Architect still run fine.
