I've got a bafflement. Upgraded to a new monitor (went from Sony 21 inch CRT to Samsung 25.5 inch LCD) with higher resolution. All text became unreadable until I changed my default font, having to do it in all applications. I found a font that looked good to me and set every app individually to use it.
Here's the puzzlement:
Every app has the same font and font size now, yet they don't all display it the same. Appleworks text looks different from TextEdit which looks different from my newsreader and sticky notes and email app, etc.
Sometimes the difference is very noticeable. Not a big hairy deal but very baffling to me.
Is this a software issue? System issue? Or monitor issue?
And can it be made more consistent?
