Subject: Magnets in iMac display

Last night, quite by accident, I noticed a magnetic field at the upper
right of my 24" iMac's display. ÊA little more investigating revealed
that there are 14 such regions around the display itself: four each
spaced along the top and bottom and three each at the sides.


Anyone know what purpose they serve?
