Since I'm where that last G3 I'm running is, figured I'd update my response.

I beleive the control panel (if you can find it, I can't) is called "Multi
Resolutions".

However, if you are using the internal video port, I'm sure it won't work if
you find the control panel or not. That video port only has 6MB of video ram
and although I have no way of testing it, pretty sure 1280x1024 was the max
and that was even with a small pixel depth (like 4 or 16 colors).

If you are using something like an ATI Rage 128, that will work fine
provided you find the control panel.

Also it seems like besides the pci slot, there is an old style AGP one as
well. Likely a video card for that would be easier to find, although I
wouldn't be surprised if they are on the virge of extinction as well.
