Thanks for the tip. I believe you're right about the dual-boot trap because
10.3.4 was working fine while I was on it but as soon as I switched to 9, it
crashed. I don't have an original disk or any start-up disks. This ibook was
brought to me by my daughter from Michigan where it was used in the school
system. They were given the computer but no disks. This is my first experiene
with an ibook. I hear a clicking sound which, in normal computers, usually
means a bad hard drive. I don't know if that's the case with this one. If I
need a hard drive and operating system, is it really worth it?
