Subject: Adding an external monitor to a
Date:Sat, July 05, 2008 10:33 PM

Talk in other threads reminds me - my previous gaming iMac is a Lime Rev
c 266MHz G3 iMac upgraded with 512MB RAM, a 140MB HD and a 500MHz G3 +
Firewire Sonnet HARMONi upgrade card. Sadly the monitor is dying - it's
getting slowly darker and darker as the months go by. It still kicks the
arse of my fallback classic gaming Mac - a Rev a Bondi iMac upgraded
with a Rev d's daughterboard to give it a 333MHz G3.
What I'd like to do is save the Lime iMac by hooking up an external
monitor - thoughts? Shouldn't be too hard, right? I'll just need to cut
a hole in the case for the video cable, yeah? What adaptor would I
require?

TIA,
Jamie Kahn Genet
