brown, red, brown, gold = 120 ohms (12x10), 5%. The wattage is never
specified in the bands, only the physical size. Bruce may be right that
they're 1/8 watt, though 1/4 watt resistors may be easier to find. As to
whether they're really necessary, if you accidentally run the wire near
an EMR source (big motor or high-current switch, for example), the
resistors will help prevent packet corruption and consequent transfer
rate degradation.
