There are several. Freeware, shareware and commercial. What kind of
machine (x86/PPC), what OS version?

And the big question is, do you know the modem you have is compatible
with the caller ID format your phone provider is sending? There are
several different formats in common use and while the $5 caller ID boxes
can generally handle all of them with aplomb, most modems, for some
reason, only handle one (and I don't mean always the same one).
