There are worse things than trolling, Stevie. Cowardliness, cluelessness, and blatant k00kery all qualify -- "normal" posters to usenet are trolling by default, since one doesn't post to avoid being noticed. One may troll for intelligent responses, but it's a better use of one's time to attempt to hook craziness and stupidity, as they are far more prevalent. Intelligence tends to be more of a happy surprise, on unmodded newsgroups.
