Hmmm....who says they have to switch? More is better, right? More Mac resources is better! Of course they may be hesitant to pay for the priveledge of using Apple core when they can do as well or better over here. Who knows, though. My biggest worry is that the people may spread rumors about this being a hacker board or something. That's pretty undeserved, but still....
