Most of the members RARELY if EVER log in to either here or SilverNET to read messages anymore, which is the real problem, IMHO. Another part of the problem is that we don't have good centralized authority in the group.
That's why I think we ought to resurrect the mailing list. I think just about all of us have internet accounts now. Come to think of it, we all have internet mail here at Headgap, so we could at least be sure notices get into the mailbox here on the bbs, for everybody that wants one. Then we need to make sure everyone knows how to send a mail to the list. No need to make one person handle all the invitations--anyone who wants to could do it, as Bob said.
