That's why I think we ought to resurrect the mailing list. I think just about all of us have internet accounts now. Come to think of it, we all have internet mail here at Headgap, so we could at least be sure notices get into the mailbox here on the bbs, for everybody that wants one. Then we need to make sure everyone knows how to send a mail to the list. No need to make one person handle all the invitations--anyone who wants to could do it, as Bob said.

Well, I DID send copies of the individual message to about 10 different people in the group (including you, Ladd, Vincent, Michael, Brian, and others). I don't know what else will work. People just aren't calling these BBSes. It's very difficult to keep track of everybody's e-mail addresses (between people changing ISP's, machines crashing and losing their e-mail databases, etc.).

I'm not directing the brunt of this message towards any one member of the group. It just seems that there are really only 2-3 members of the group who are even semi-active, which raises the question: "What good is the group anyway"? Besides, everyone knows Apple is going to slip their release dates on the new OS and even OS 8 to the point that they're insignificant (they've now moved Rhapsody's premiere release back to mid '98 and initial widespread release to early '99.....I know I'm not going to wait that long....sorry). Maybe we outta rename ourselves the "Apple remorse support group" or something?
