I agree, since I'm one of those people. I simply don't have that much time to spend on the computer anymore. That darn school thing is getting in the way.
VMUGM is great, but like Apple, it seems to be going down the drain. The e-mail list is a good idea, but I think we need to figure out a way to reach new members.
Is there still a listing of local Memphis BBSes? I'm sure by now there must be a few more Mac oriented BBSes in Memphis. Then again maybe not. It looks like the local BBSes are declining while ISPs are going through the roof. Are we seeing the beginning of the end of local BBSes as we know it?
