<<They've just got code working for playing Cinepak encoded movies, and apparently not as an operating system service either. QuickTime has a whole architecture built up for doing lots of media-related things that's quite impressive. Of course it would be even more impressive if it ran on a PMT system, since you could probably get smoother frame rates, while doing other tasks, etc..

The serial support, and "advanced gamekit support" (whatever that is) are missing. I was the net via a dedicated ISDN connection, so I got to play with their little web browser. Actually quite decent!>>

I've continued to check at BookStar for this issue and they say it still hasn't come in (2 weeks late), which makes me think they may never actually get this high-demand issue. I guess I'll keep checking, though.

I can't wait until I can get a dedicated ISDN connection to the net. 28.8 isn't bad (since most of the lag comes from the net in a lot of cases anyway), but I don't even have a stable connection or a dedicated modem phone line (which is what really sucks!).
