<<I've heard they might start offering cable connections soon. The cable connection is not only much faster, but it's suppose to be cheaper as well. I've heard there were a few drawbacks to cable connections. It's suppose to be a hardwire connection to the internet; so when you are on with a cable connection, there are some security risks.

Anybody heard anything new about cable modems recently? I keep hearing they're getting more an more prolific. Also, I've heard that by the end of '98 there are supposed to be 3 million or more cable modem connections to the net. Any of you looked into this yet? I personally would LOVE a static connection to the net. It would allow me to set up my own REAL server, finally.
