I assume you are on a Mac, but you should have no trouble launching from the file. Try opening it from within TF Client and see if it recognizes it that way. I may need to .sit archive it for transfer but I have pulled it off direct like many of the others who have been using it. If you are on a PC using that client then you can't use this file. I hope to eventually get a PC prefs file set up but dont have one for now.
If you have resedit try opening it and closing it.
