I think there are a lot of people using Macs here... this state was one of the last bastions of the Betamax video format, and while I do not want to compare the Mac to the Betamax, it seems to be true that we have a lot of Mac people here.

The Hawaii Macintosh Users Group is still going strong after more than 15 years around (they formed as an Apple users group before the Mac) and we have a couple of Mac only stores here in Honolulu.... In the graphics industry there are a lot of us Mac people around, and also within the educational arena... people still find that Macs have a lot of merit despite the obviously larger arena of PC people (yes, there are a lot of PC users here, more than Macs), but we are not totally dead out here in the middle of the Pacific...hehe.

Have a happy holiday.

"Mele Kalikmaka" (Merry Christmas in Hawaiian)
