Please try here first: <http://members.xoom.com/boolean/>
If the above site gets buried in traffic, try here second: <http://members.tripod.com/~brobdingnag/index.html>
Last try: <http://www.concentric.net/~Ira97/lightning/lghtng.shtml>
direct ftp download (again, please make sure to pick the appropriate monitor resolution):
Sophisticated, elegant images, for your sophisticated, elegant Mac.
This bonus offer expires May 31,1998.

Date: Mon, 13 Apr 1998 11:49:58 -0000 From: EvangeList <evangelist@apple.com> Subject: $$ - As the Apple Turns "Beat the Analysts" Contest
This special offer is from:
Jack Miller, <jackm@infoXczar.com>
_As_the_Apple_Turns_ is proud to announce the start of this quarter's "Beat the Analysts" contest, in which Apple watchers can win goofy prizes by guessing Apple's Q2 financial results.
Apple is scheduled to announce their Q2 results on Wednesday, April 15th. "Beat the Analysts" is open until the evening of the night before. Stop by, register your guess, and you could be the lucky winner of a genuine shrink-wrapped copy of System 6.0.7, pulled from our Baffling Vault of Antiquity! (Hey, just remember-- you're doing this for fun, not for material gain... ;-)
Analysts seem to be predicting a profit of $20-$100 million, despite Apple's cautions about how Q2 is traditionally their worst quarter. Break out the magic 8-ball and register your own guess at:
As usual, EvangeLists get special treatment. There is an optional field on the entry form labeled "EvangeList Password." Enter the super-secret password "Mighty Cat" for an additional chance to win: if the closest guesser is not an EvangeList, the closest guesser who _did_ enter the password will receive a second prize, still to be determined; if the closest guesser _is_ an EvangeList, he/she will receive both prizes. (It's really not as complicated as it sounds. ;-)
Thanx a ton to the Mac community (and Apple!) for keeping life interesting. :) Tune in to AtAT at <http://www.infoXczar.com/atat/> for your daily Apple soap opera fix.
