it is a shockwave ONLY site.

This follow-up message is from:

Andrew Steacy <mailto:asteacy@ent.com.au>

Well I must say that for such an off the wall question, I received
quite a number of very good answers.

Most recommended FoxPro, FoxBase, or Visual FoxPro 6

One recommended to code in C++ as this will then allow porting to
anything! - Good advise but not for this situation where the
programming has been 6 years in the making.

One that I did check on was some advise to see: "CodeBase, from
<http://www.sequiter.com> -- it's a solid, extremely fast xbase
engine that runs on just about every platform, including MacOS." This
does indeed look to be just as the person says.

One last one suggested: "CodeWarrior... by using the SIOUX
libraries... It creates a rudimentary TUI interface inside of a Mac
window.... Some of the calls would have to be rewritten... but very
minor..."

I would like to thank all who replied.

Subject: Tidbit - EvangeLista Greetings From GoGaGa!

This tidbit is from:

joe pezzillo <mailto:joe@eclecticradio.com>

Greetings from GoGaGa Brand Radio!

This is an update to the message I sent about a year ago about how
important Apple Macintosh computers have been to the productivity and
success of our Internet Radio stations. (We keep the original message
on our website at <http://www.gogaga.com/misc/gogaga_evangelist.html>)

Now I'm writing just to let you know that we got one of those
fantastic iMacs which we're just thrilled with and put it in the
heart of our Airstudio on our webcam for everyone to see.

You can check it out right now at: <http://www.gogaga.com/studiocam>

For some other great Mac-related stuff, check out the archives of the
webcast we did live from the Digital Storytelling Festival in Crested
Butte, Colorado. It includes a great interview with Harry Marks
talking about how Macs have revolutionized telvision and film
production, as well as Apple's own Creighton Nolte, and Apple's
"relatives" like Brenda Laurel and Salon Magazine. These archives are
at <http://www.gogaga.com/shows/ted/dsf>

Oh yeah, since people always ask, "what is GoGaGa anyway?" Here's the
answer: it's "freeform eclectic" radio that plays music from every
genre from ambient to zydeco and everything in between, and it's
definately designed for people who like to think differently. For
other great Internet Radio stations, check out our complete line up
at <http://www.macroradio.net>

Thanks so much to everyone at Apple for making all these great things possible!

My favorite quote from the site?

"Vice President and all-round technology guy Al Gore: 'How could this
be a problem in a country where we have Intel and Microsoft?'"
