Subject: networking Macs in an NT world

Hello,

I'm in a company that until the past five years was entirely Mac. Along came the PCs and God help us, Windows NT. I'm one of a dwindling number of people who are still are on the Mac. I've been told that newer, faster and better servers are going to be installed. I was also told that I'd have to use a program called "Dave" to connect to these new servers. I have tried this application in "demo" mode and found that I did have some problems with it. I voiced this concern as well as the fact that aren't servers multiplatform (naturally, Microsoft makes it as difficult as possible)? I was told that Mac Services would not be turned on as it puts too much of a load on the servers. Anyone out there with the big corporate overview who could tell me if my I.S. department is giving me a big load?

Thanks much!
