RAMDoubler 2 is much better than verion 1.6.x. From most benchmark tests it is just as fast as normal memory. It still gets slow in really low memory situations. RAM Doubler 2 i svery stable, but it isn't perfect. Nothing beats real memory.

Actually, with Mac OS 7.5.5, I don't need RAM Doubler any longer. The only reason I needed RAM Doubler in the first place was because programs like Netscape don't always release the memory. The update seems to fix this problem, so the memory in my system doesn't get fragmented anymore. Thus, I usually have more free RAM.
