I recently downloaded the BeOS for my Powermac. It works fine, but the owner of the computer was told that it is a "disaster waiting to happen." He is under the impression that since the BeOS actually shuts down the MacOS when it starts up, there could be some glitch that would prevent the Mac from ever starting up again. How safe is it to run the BeOS with MacOS 8?
