Subject: MacOS X Server vs OS 8.5

Hey guys,
I have kind of a dilemna.
I've heard on the net that OS X server (aka Rhapsody CR1 w/ BlueBox) will include OS 8.5 as it's bluebox OS. I had always preveiously thought I'd just get both systems and just tinker with Rhapsody. Now, however, I'm seriously thinking about dumping regular old OX 8.x and going straight to OS X server with the 8.5 bluebox.
Anybody have any feelings on this?
I'm sure I'd use mainly the bluebox in OS X, but I think it would be great to get to know the underpinnings of the system pretty well when going into the regular consumer OS X next year some time.
The problems are resources. I can always add ram since it's dirt cheap these days (64Megs for ~$75 if you look on RamWatch). The other possible problem is dial-up PPP connections. Often it seems these early versions of new OSes have trouble with dialin connections (or can be a real pain in the buttocks to set up).
The benefit, as I see it, is the possibility of easier interaction between my Mac and PC (possibly using a gateway to get them both online at the same time....aren't servers supposed to be good at this stuff?). Another possible benefit is speed since Bluebox supposedly screams for some reason. Of course there is also the notion of using it as an ethernet server down the road (I hope to get one of those new groovy-looking, beefy G3's with USB and firewire when they come out, or shortly thereafter).

Anyway, I'm just hoping to start up some discussion about this. Why would you get both systems? Why not just go with OS X server?
