Bob, I did read about some problems with 8.5.1 on Macintouch. Haven't checked that site in a few days. I haven't "patched" yet. I will watch for your messages to see if everything runs OK.
The only problem I have had with 8.5 is an annoying message after boot-up that says System Extension: For functionality add to System folder, blah, blah, blah.
I have tried to figure out which extension is giving the problem but I cannot isolate it. I guess Conflict Catcher 8.0 may do it but I don't have that yet.
