I'm pretty content with mine too. I have bought a 230Mb Olympus magneto-optical drive last week (the disks are here, but the drive should come by early or mid-October). I kinda want a big internal HD, too...but the MO drive may quell my need.

The drive is supposed to be awesome. It pushes data at about the same speed as a Syquest EZ135, but the cartridges hold 230 megs. The coolest thing is that they only cost $50 for a 5-pack! That's $10 a piece, or $50 for a Gig! Way better than a Jaz in price. The drive is a bit more expensive than a Zip drive, but if you buy a Gig worth of cartridges for the Zip, it ends up being more expensive. (I paid $409 for my setup...that gives me the drive and 10 cartridges - 2Gigs...the drives cost $359 from Olympus, and they send you 4 extra cartridges in the mail when you register it....APS sells a version for $300 if you buy a 5-pack of cart's for $50....pretty cheap!

Oh yeah, the cartridges are nearly indestructable. They're guaranteed for life, too. They're harder to kill than a CD or a Zip or Syquest. You can sit them on your monitor or phone and don't even have to worry.
