Guys, I just uploaded a relatively newly released game called DomeWars. I've been searching for a Mac version of the old PC shareware game called "Scorched Earth" for several years with only moderately good luck until I stumbled across this one. This game is AWESOME. It's really pretty much just like Scorched Earth.
It's basically an artillery/tank game. You can play against up to 9 computers, or if you have machines on a network, you can play against a combination of humans and computers (which is actually a new twist to the Scorched Earth theme). You start off with a tank on a 2d mountainous landscape. You can change your gun's angle and power to shoot at the other tanks. The cool aspect is that if you hit a tank and kill it, you get points which you can use to buy cooler weapons (like ICBM's, guided missiles, nukes, dirt bombs, dustbusters, rolling weapons, etc) which make it easier to hit your enemies. You can also buy shields of various sizes and other things to allow your tank to actually move.
