I just updated my 1542 modem to Supra 33.6! I used my wifes office modem which happens to be a 5b also and have it hooked to my other system. I have a true 28.8 connection! I was hoping to get faster than that but as you all know the 28.8 usually hook at 26.4 and even sometimes drop down to 24. It is noticeable faster!!! I haven't tried any file transfers yet but I like this you can feel it response so far.
My other Supras will be updated but are the older ones. I will have to return them to have the datapumps changed out. I am hoping they will have a sysop swap out program.
