Positive. This is for real. There's news all over the net. MacStep OS (or whatever they'll call it) will be cool. Awesome! They're confident they can release it for Macs during '97. MetroWerks has stated they will have the necessary development tools by WWDC in May.
As always, Steve Jobs is stirring up a lot of both positive and negative comments, but the majority are good, and even the negative comments stem from 11-12 years ago. The important thing is that the analysts think it is a very solid plan. Hardware independent MacOS!
