But how long will it take them to move up to 20% marketshare? Gil Amelio has already stated point blank that Apple is not likely to become profitable again until next year sometime, and that this whole affair has hurt Mac marketing and sales to the point that they don't expect to come close to the numbers of machines they sold in 1995 during 1996, and likely not the first part of 1997 either. Looks like there's going to be at least 1.5 years of LOSING marketshare (and how much can you lose when you're only at about 7% and slipping already and still stay alive?)
