Well one thing's for sure, I'm not going to buy the Mac OS, until it reaches System 8. There's no point in buying something for $100 when I can get the same features free. I really don't care if my OS looks pretty, and can render 3D. My system is too slow to run Quicktime 3D right now anyway. All I want right now is a stable system and pre-emptive multitasking.
Hopefully, Copland will give my Mac the performance boost to last me for a few more years. My system doesn't seem slow right now, it's just not blazing fast anymore.
