We've all taken less-than-perfect photos, but now the application that made it easier to import, organize, print, and share your digital photographs makes it just as easy to enhance and archive them.
One-button easy, in fact.
In iPhoto 2, a click on the Enhance button lets you turn under- or overexposed photos into keepers. Better photos in seconds. Want to get the red out? One click on the Red Eye button will do the trick. And just by hitting the Burn button, you can archive hundreds of photographs onto a CD or thousands on a DVD.*

5. Tips for Ten: Bringing Home Lost Sheep
Scott Kelby must have a million tips (or pretty close) in "Mac OS X Killer Tips." Here's another you'll find helpful:
"Okay, so you see the application's (or document's) icon in the Dock, but you have no earthly idea where the app (or doc) really resides on your hard drive. It's there somewhere, but you just don't know where, and that scares you. To find where the application or document in the Dock really lives, just click on its icon in the Dock and choose "Show in Finder" from the menu that pops up. The window where it's stored will immediately appear on screen."

6. Safari Tip: Block Those Ads
Show of hands. How many of you absolutely hate those annoying ads that pop up on your screen when you're surfing the web? Visit enough sites, and the ads can outnumber your browser window ten to one.
Wouldn't it be great if you could just banish them completely from your online existence?
Here's how easy it is to eliminate pop-up ad with Safari: Pull down the Safari menu and choose Block Pop-Up Windows. (Or just type Command-K.)
It may be a beta version, but Safari--the turbo browser for Mac OS X--already outperforms the older web browsers on the block. Visit the Safari site and find out how.

7. Technically Speaking: Mac OS X Keyboard Shortcuts
You may know that Command-W tells Mac OS X v10.2 "Jaguar" to close the active window. That you can create a new folder by typing Shift-Command-N. Or that Option-Command-D lets you, alternately, hide or show the Dock.
But did you know that you can use other keyboard shortcuts to start up in FireWire Target Disk mode, collapse or expand folders in List view, create aliases, open your Home folder, take a picture of the screen, and many other useful actions?
You can. In fact, Mac OS X v10.2 includes these and other keyboard shortcuts that can improve your productivity. You'll find a list of them in the Knowledge Base article "Mac OS X: Keyboard Shortcuts."
