Mac OS X Review and Demo

We have a very special guest coming to our AppleCore of Memphis (Mac User Group) meeting in June 19th at 7 pm. Jack Quattlebaum is a very dynamic speaker. We have the Farris Auditorium Southwest Tennessee Community College (the outfit formerly known as State Tech) which seats over 200 people. He will be showing Mac OS X in detail. MacOS X as you may know has a Unix core with the ease of use of a Mac which makes it a very powerful alternative operating system.

Jack is a specialist in Media Integration and Networking in his 13th year at Apple, and supports Apple's Business Market Development activities in the Eastern US.

During his 33 years in the computer industry, Jack has worked for both hardware and software companies, including IBM, Cincom Systems, Atlanta-based ISA and Software Atlanta. Jack was a partner in an Atlanta-based consulting firm for 5 years. He was the CEO of a technology-based startup in Atlanta in the early 80's.

Jack has provided educational presentations for the ACM, AIGA, DPMA, Florida Magazine Association, IEEE, and NNPA as well as professional development programs at Atlanta University and Georgia Tech.

He is also a frequent presenter at seminars in Atlanta, Ft. Lauderdale, Greenville, Huntsville, Jacksonville, Memphis, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh and Washington, D.C.
