About Installing OSX Applications
At this time, it is not advisable to install OSX applications from within a non-OSX environment. While running OSX, find the OSX applications in the Software folder and install the programs from the OSX Finder. Use the terminal application to decompress tar.gz files. Here's an example:
To decompress foo.tar.gz, type:
gnutar xvfz foo.tar.gz
Included in the current OSX folder is OpenUp which, when decompressed, will handle the unzipping process in a much friendlier and quicker fashion.
The familiar .SIT files should decompress using Aladdin's Stuffit Expander. As more OSX applications and utilities become available, we'll be able to incorporate a more user-friendly install process. Thanks!

If you're an audio junkie, traversing into the land of OS X has been a slow process as most audio apps leave you confined to the Classic side of the fence. This nifty app allows you to turn any ordinary text file into an AIFF file, using Jaguar's built-in text-to-speech feature, so you can listen to the info on your way to and from work.
