JiffyDOS

JiffyDOS is a DOS speed enhancement system with a built-in DOS Wedge. JiffyDOS was designed to overcome the problems associated with cartridge and software disk drive speed enhancement systems.

JiffyDOS is supplied as replacement chips for the kernal ROM(s) in your computer and the DOS ROM in your disk drive(s). By replacing these parts on both ends of the system  it becomes possible to put improved serial bus transfer routines into place without losing compatability with software.   This method also makes it possible to speed up all disk access routines  not just the LOAD and SAVE commands.
